Joseph Nathan Cohen is an Assistant Professor of Sociology at the City University of New York, Queens College.  He is a faculty member and former Director of Queens College’s Master’s Program in Data Analytics and Social Research.

His current research focuses on household finance, economic policy, and wellbeing in 21st century America. He teaches statistics and research methodology.

He co-authored Global Capitalism: A Sociological Perspective (Polity Press), and is currently working on a book about the causes of financial insecurity among middle class Americans.
