Joseph Nathan Cohen is an Assistant Professor of Sociology at the City University of New York, Queens College. He is a faculty member in the Department of Sociology and both member and former Director of Queens College’s Master’s Program in Data Analytics and Social Research.
He co-authored Global Capitalism: A Sociological Perspective (Polity Press), and is currently working on a book about the causes of financial insecurity among middle class Americans.
His current research focuses on household finance, economic policy, and wellbeing in 21st century America.
In Fall 2015, Professor Cohen will be teaching SOC 334: Research Methods and SOC 712: Advanced Statistics. Pages for these classes will be up by late-August.
